    Mission

    The Comprehensive Soldier & Family Fitness Fitness-Performance and Resilience Enhancement Program provides cutting edge mental skills and resilience education and training and teambuilding support to the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) and Fort Benning in order to reinforce a culture of excellence, resilience and the Warrior Ethos.

    About

    The Comprehensive Soldier & Family Fitness-Performance and Resilience Enhancement Program (CSF2-PREP) provides a systematic way to build mental and emotional strength using scientifically tested, evaluated, and validated education methods from the fields of sport and performance psychology. This program fills a recognized gap in the Army's doctrine and training that directly addresses the how, as in specifically developing the psychological attributes of the human dimension deemed critical to success on the battlefield and throughout life. CSF2-PREP education seeks to provide Warriors, family members, and DA Civilians the skills to be self-regulating, instinctive, adaptive, and mentally agile under intense pressure, while contributing to personal hardiness and resilience.

    FAQs

    Results of CSF2-PREP Pilot Program
    • Jumpmaster course graduation rate increased an average of 10 percent after incorporating CSF2-PREP.
    • On Sand Hill, 198th Brigade saw a steady increase in Army Physical Fitness Test scores over the course of three cycles, from the 240s to the 260s.
    • Marksmanship performance improved during the same period from a historic average of 29 to 33.
    • Combined with the influence of our Master Resiliency Trainer trained Drill Sergeants, we are also seeing a potential decrease in the number of Soldiers who refuse to train – went from 20 all the way down to 2, 0 and 4 – during the three training cycles.

    Workshops

    Great Team Exercise Workshop: Develop a team philosophy and purpose in order to enhance cohesion.
    Team Goal Setting Workshop: Establish a long-term organizational end state and a detailed collaborative blueprint to achieve organizational goals and enhance cohesion.
    PREP Leadership Development Course: Supports the 21st Century Leader Development initiative, Squad: Foundation of the Decisive Force. Junior leaders are a scalable target audience who will gain the most benefit from the program. This course is designed to augment the limited opportunities available in the OES and NCOES systems.
