The inaugural Maneuver Center of Excellence Reconnaissance Summit intends to examine the Army’s Modular Brigade Combat Team Reconnaissance organizations within the framework of the current family of futures documents (Army Capstone Concept, Army Operating Concept, Movement and Maneuver Functional Concept) that describe capabilities required to operate under conditions of uncertainty and complexity during the period 2016-2028. The purpose of the conference is to engage senior Army leaders and reconnaissance stakeholders in a professional discussion to examine future capabilities in relation to existing doctrine, organizations, and training and leader development programs. The end state is to outline a strategy that enables operationally adaptive reconnaissance organizations that can execute wide area security and combined arms operations under conditions of ambiguity.

  • Keep straight going South
  • Turn left onto Eighth Division Road
  • Once you See the Armor School Water Tower, you have entered Harmony Church
  • After you cross over US-280 East / US-27 South bridge, you will make the first left turn into 316th Cavalry Brigade. The Patton GIB will be on your Right
Patton GIB at Harmony Church
  • Take I-85 South from Atlanta, Georgia
  • Take I-185 South to Columbus
  • Exit 1B onto Victory Dr / 27E / 280E
  • Exit from 27/280 to 1st Division Ave Access Point Proceed straight along Old Cusseta Hwy to 8th Division Rd Left on 8th Division Rd Cross bridge, the Patton GIB is the large building to the left.
  • Proceed past the GIB and make the immediate next left into the parking lot
Directions to the Benning Conference Center
  • Take I-85 South from Atlanta, Georgia
  • Take I-185 South to Columbus
  • Exit 1A onto Victory Drive heading West
  • Left on Ft Benning Drive
  • Pass through security
  • Right on Vibbert Ave
  • Left on Ingersoll Street
  • Right on Morrison Ave
  • Benning Conference Center will be on your right
From the Benning Conference Center to the Patton GIB
  • Exit parking lot and left on Ingersoll Street Left on Dixie Right on 8th Division Rd Cross bridge, the Patton GIB is the large building to the left.
  • Proceed past the GIB and make the immediate next left into the parking lot
From Columbus to National Infantry Museum
  • Depart on I-185 South
  • At exit 1B, take ramp right and follow signs for US-27 North / US-280 West / SR-1 West / SR-520 North / Victory Dr
  • Turn left onto Fort Benning Rd
  • Keep straight onto Fort Benning Blvd
  • Once you pass the Main MCoE Welcome sign, the entrance to the NIM parking lot will one mile up, on the right.
