Mission
The mission of the United States Marine Corps Detachment is to function as a unified Training Command entity aboard Fort Benning, providing the operating forces with M1A1 and Assault Breacher Vehicle crewmen and mechanics as well as supporting advanced skills training within the U.S. Army’s Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) for U.S. Marine Corps infantry and armor.
