Course Requirements

You must have these items in your possession at in-processing ALL SERVICES:
All In-proccessing documentation will be submitted to the Abrams Master Gunner Senior Instructor NLT 30 days prior to Course Start

  1. Battalion Commander's Letter of Recommendation.
  2. Orders for Master Gunner School (DD Form 1610 / Defense Travel System (DTS) / Official Orders / School Service Worksheet).
  3. GT VI Score Sheet -certified within last 12 months(RA) or within last 24 months(NG/Reserve).
  4. VCE Certificate (within the last 12 months).
  5. DA Form 705 Record APFT Card (within the last 6 months).
  6. No Profiles that will limit the Soldiers’ ability to accomplish the required training upon arrival.
  7. DA 5500-r Body Fat Work Sheet (if applicable within the last 6 months).
  8. Current Updated STP showing one year of rated Tank Commander time.
