Waiver

  1. WAIVERS (MINUS MEDICAL AND/OR AGE) MUST BE SUBMITTED NLT 75 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLASS START DATE.

  2. WAIVERS FOR MEDICAL AND/OR AGE REQUIREMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED NLT 90 DAYS PRIOR TO CLASS START DATE.

  3. ANY WAIVERS SUBMITTED OUTSIDE THE TIMEFRAME MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A LETTER OF LATENESS SIGNED BY O-5 OR HIGHER. ****NO EXCEPTIONS

  4. WAIVERS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE HIGHER HEADQUARTERS SCHOOL NCO (REPRESENTATIVE) ONLY. ****NO EXCEPTIONS

The Infantry School Commandant is the waiver approval authority for this course.

Students requesting course/phase prerequisite waivers (e.g. AOC/MOS, Rank/Grade, etc.) or units requesting changes to POI content (e.g. during "on site" course conducts (MTT) request to delete/modify lessons/blocks of instruction, shortage of equipment, etc.) will submit their request through the first LTC Commander in their chain of command to:

Waivers may be submitted electronically to the following email or by mail to the Infantry Commandants office usarmy.moore.mcoe.mbx.usais-training-waivers@army.mil.

Please be advised that the first step to submitting a waiver is to determine the type of waiver you need. Failure to submit ALL required forms will delay processing!
