Chaplain Counseling Center


The Fort Benning Chaplain Counseling Center exists to serve the Fort Benning military community including all active duty Soldiers, their Families, retirees and their Families possessing a valid identification card, and Department of Defense Civilians. For better service please call for an appointment. For your first appointment please arrive twenty minutes early to complete some necessary paperwork.

Our mission is to enrich human relationships by providing preventive and therapeutic pastoral care and counseling. The American Association of Pastoral Counselors has accredited the Family Life Center as an approved counseling training and service center. Our programs focus on prevention, intervention, and education.

Pre-marital Preparation Workshops for couples getting married. Usually held the first Friday of each month.

  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) equip key leaders for suicide intervention.
  • American Association of Pastoral Counselors training for Pastoral Care Specialists and Associate Pastoral Counselors.
  • Quality professional service at no charge to qualified individuals.
