MILITARY POLICE RECORDS


The MP Records section maintains the full spectrum of military police records/files to include, police reports for all types of offenses, such as, felonies and misdemeanors, Absent Without Leaves (AWOLs), Desertions, post suspensions, traffic reports etc. They receives a wide variety of requests by mail, in person, and by telephone for military police report information from the general public, attorneys, insurance companies and active and retired military personnel of all branches of the service. Research requests for information and identifies and retrieves the record from the Administrative Branch Archives Room/RHA. Use knowledge of the applicable Army Regulations, the FOIA, the Privacy Act, and other applicable HQDA directives, extract exempted information, sanitize, and release military police report information by delivering it in person, or by preparing a cover letter to forward it by mail. Maintain an automated customer service index to ensure that an audit trail is accurate for all information released from military police records.

The hours of operation are:

Monday – Friday 9:00am to 11:00am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Closed on Thursday for training.
