- All TAP Connection Events are FREE of charge to employers. Please provide us with your flier to post to our website
- The target audience for all Connection Events are to Transitioning Soldiers, Veterans and Military Spouses
- Fort Benning TAP has demonstrated that smaller more focused events produce better results for our Soldiers and provide a better return on investment to our stakeholders

Hiring Events
- The scheduling of Hiring Events with the TAP Center are FREE of charge to employers
- The target audience for all Hiring Events are Transitioning Soldiers, Veterans and Military Spouses
- You will receive a response from an TAP representative within 72 hours from request
The following MUST BE MET to schedule a Hiring Event
- Minimum of 6-weeks advance notice
- The Hiring Event must be scheduled, hosted, and staffed by the actual employer hiring Transitioning Soldiers, Veterans and Military Spouses
- The employer must have current and open positions
- The employer must have staff available to tender job offers
Special Employer Incentives (SEI)
EMPLOYERS WHO HIRE VETERANS RECEIVE:
- Reimbursement of up to 50 percent of the Veteran’s salary during the SEI program, which typically lasts up to 6 months, to cover:
- Expenses incurred for cost of instruction
- Necessary loss of production due to training status
- Supplies and equipment necessary to complete training
- VA-provided tools, equipment, uniforms and other supplies
- Appropriate workplace accommodations based on individual needs of the Veteran
- VA support during training and the placement follow-up phase, in order to assist with Veteran work or training-related needs
