Department of Veterans Affairs - Benefits Delivery at Discharge (BDD)

The Benefits Delivery at Discharge (BDD) office assists ETS and Retiring service members with the pre-discharge VA disability claims process. If you are interested in filing a pre-discharge VA claim, please attend one of our weekly briefings conducted on Wednesdays at 0900, Bldg 9230 in the Transition Assistance Program facility auditorium, building 9230. Briefings are approximately 2 ½ hours. Sign-up is not required to attend a briefing however, attendance is on a 1st come, first serve basis. Service members are NOT required to have medical records to attend this briefing. Medical records should however, be requested early enough to ensure receipt within the 180-90 day BDD window. Briefings will include a Q/A section. MSC’s will address all questions/concerns or extenuating circumstances not covered during the briefing at that time.
