Housing

  • Active Duty ABOLC Lieutenants are authorized to live off post.
  • National Guard Students must live in Abrams Hall.
  • To receive a list of apartment complexes and housing commonly used by students call the Student Liaison at 706-626-6302.

Students without dependents are strongly encouraged to live in accommodations with no roommates given the current COVID-19 environment. If a student becomes positive with COVID-19, he/she and their respective roommates will be placed in a "medical hold" status and likely be recycled to the next ABOLC Class after completing their quarantine or isolation period. This delay will naturally effect follow-on schooling and reporting to the next unit.

Moving

The Fort Benning Transportation Office number is 706-545-4900.

ASSIGNMENTS/REASSIGNMENTS: Active duty assignments/ reassignments are handled by Human Resources Command. Due to the ever-changing needs of the Army, diversions are possible during the course. Students are encouraged to contact their sponsor at their gaining unit and their gaining unit S1 one month prior to reporting. Students may contact their gaining unit in order to determine their pinpoint assignment. It is common for pinpoints to be given at your permanent duty station.
