Emergency Notification

American Red Cross communication services help to keep families in touch with military personnel following the death or serious illness of a family member, the birth of a child, or other family emergencies.

Information can be found on the Red Cross Website at: https://www.redcross.org/get-help/military-families/emergency-communication.html

Phone number to contact the Red Cross is 1-877-272-7337

You will need the following information:

  • Full legal name
  • Rank/rating
  • Branch of service (Army)
  • Social Security number or Date of Birth
  • Military unit address (9075 Holcomb Drive, Fort GA 31905)
  • Information about the emergency:
  • Name and contact of immediate family member experiencing emergency (Spouse, Parent, child/grandchild or grandparent)
  • Nature of the emergency
  • Where the emergency can be verified (hospital, doctors office, funeral home)
