ENTRANCE EXAM: Upon arrival, the instructor will administer a pre-exam, the student must pass with a 70% or better in order to continue T3. This ensures that the student understands the material that he/she is soon to teach. It is important that each student reviews the classes before attending the course.
ELO’s from different classes will be randomly selected and assigned to students during the training portion of the course. The student will teach the prescribed ELO to his / her peers. During this time, the instructor will ensure that the student, as well as their peers, have a thorough understanding of the material.
TESTING: An entire MTFC block of instruction will be taught during this phase. As an ELO is started the instructor will randomly select a student to teach the ELO. They will teach multiple ELO’s from different classes. Students are expected to stand up on the spot and begin teaching immediately. This assesses the student’s understanding of material taught, and allows the instructor to evaluate the student’s ability to convey the information. This is a GO / NOGO exam.
