SUAS Master Trainer
Prerequisites
Phase Prerequisites: Must be Active Army or Reserve Component (RC) current and qualified Raven B/DDL SUAS Operator (must possess certificate from Fort Benning, PM MTT or the Unit Master Trainer).
NCO in the Grade of E-5 through E-7. Must possess a minimum of 20 documented operational flight hours and 20 documented simulation flight hours.
Students will have a copy of additional orders assigning them as the unit Small Unmanned Aerial System Master Trainer signed by the first O-5 in the Chain of Command.
GT score of 100 or higher.
Soldier must have two years retainability or greater after completion of the course.
Must meet medical standards in accordance with ALARACT 311/2011 Medical Fitness Standards for SUAS.
Soldier must be assigned to a unit with MTOE authorized Small Unmanned Aircraft System (SUAS).
Must be a current and mission qualified SUAS operator.
A waiver is required for anyone not meeting the criteria listed above.
The course is open to Active Army or Reserve Component Commissioned Officers in the Grade of 0-1 through 0-3 and Warrant Officers W-1 though W-4 with MTOE authorized SUAS with a waiver.
Waiver Authority: Chief of Infantry The Chief of Infantry, US Army Infantry School is the waiver approval authority for this course.
Students requesting course/phase prerequisite waivers (e.g. AOC/MOS, Rank/Grade, Medical/Physical Standards, etc.) or units requesting changes to POI content (e.g. during "on site" course conducts (MTT) request to delete/modify lessons/blocks of instruction, shortage of equipment, etc.) will submit their request through the first LTC Commander in their chain of command.
