Description of Services: AFAP is a process that invites community members to be agents of change by improving programs and services, changing policies/regulations and amending laws. Annually, the Fort Benning Garrison Commander will host an Issue Generating Forum where delegates who represent the complete demographic of the Installation, will brainstorm issues and come up with issues pertaining to the quality of life for Soldiers, Civilians, Retirees, Survivors and their Family Members. Description of Services: The Army Family Team Building (AFTB) program is a volunteer led organization with a central purpose: provide training and knowledge to spouses and Family Members to support the total Army effort. AFTB's mission is to empower individuals, maximizing their personal growth and professional development through specialized training, transforming our community into a resilient and strong foundation meeting today's military mission. MD&SSO promotes and distributes information about community resources to assist Soldiers and Family members.
