The Armed Forces’ Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program is the Armed Forces’ integrated, proactive effort to end the crimes of sexual harassment and sexual assault within our ranks. Sexual harassment and sexual assault have no place in the Armed Forces. If you have been the victim of sexual harassment or sexual assault, you have a voice, you have rights, and we’re here to help.

Sexual harassment is unwelcomed sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, verbal comments, and physical conduct of a sexual nature where submission to or rejection of them can impact or interfere with someone's job, pay, or career.
Sexual assault is intentional sexual contact characterized by the use of force, threats, intimidation, abuse of authority, or when the victim does not or cannot consent.
Sexual assault and sexual harassment are not the same, although they are related to each other. Guidelines apply 24/7, on or off-installation.
A comprehensive program providing intervention and support services to victims of sexual harassment and assault, 24 hrs per day. Managed by the Installation Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Prevention Coordinator (SARC). The SARC or Victim Advocate (VA) are on call 24/7 at (706) 566-7393 to ensure victims are properly advised of their reporting options.
