Common Faculty Development-Developer Course (CFD-DC)

The Common Faculty Development-Developer Course (CFD-DC) is equivalent to the current Foundation Training Developer Course (FTDC). CFD-DC graduation serves as part of the documentation within the application packet for the Officer Additional Skill Identifier (ASI) of "7Q" and Enlisted/Warrant Officer Skill Qualification Identifier (SQI) of "2".

Outcome

---

CFD-DC graduates are adaptive training developers and/or instructor/writers who are competent, confident and capable of developing, revising, and validating specific instructional material in accordance with the ADDIE process.

Prerequisites

---

Student must:

• Must meet height and weight standards IAW AR 600-9.
• Must not be flagged or pending UCMJ action
• Prerequisites will be adjusted based on the course validation conducted by the proponent, Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence

Registration

---

Registration is conducted by the unit Schools NCO using the Registration Form.

Note: Priority is given to personnel assigned:

1. as a training developer;
2. as an instructor/writer;
3. all other personnel
