Instructor Writer Course (IWC)

Description

The Instructor Writer Course (IWC) is the two-day course which replaces the Instructional Design Basic Course (IDBC) in FY24 and is an alternative to the Common Faculty Development - Developer Course (CFD-DC) for instructors pursuing the Senior Army Instructor Badge (SAIB) in accordance with TRADOC Regulation 600-21 (Faculty Development and Recognition Program). Dates are subject to change.

The outcome of the course is that graduates will understand how to properly revise a lesson plan: fulfilling the guidance and requirements outlined in the most current version of TRADOC Regulation 600-21, Faculty Development and Recognition Program.

Please note: IWC is a 12-hour course that supports FDRP requirements and is not a substitute for the 80-hour CFD-DC qualification requirement for Training Developers.
