Update, revise, develop, and validate individual tasks for 11 and 19 series MOSs based on DOTMLPF changes and results from Critical Tasks Site Selection Boards (CTSSBs) to ensure Soldiers and leaders throughout the Army have the most current training material (GTAs, STPs, TSPs, etc.) available to successfully train to standard. Individual tasks provide training developers, instructors, and leaders with the foundation for developing effective institutional and unit training that supports the operational environment. Task Development Branch (TDB) also manages the web based application, Training Development Capability (TDC), used to administer large-scale unit-based training products across the Army.
Identifies designs and develops the individual critical tasks that Infantry and Armor Soldiers and leaders must accomplish to successfully perform their mission and duties. Uses the outcome to determine if there is a need to develop/revise training products. Conducts job analysis to identify the individual critical tasks required to successfully accomplish the mission and duties.
