Building 89, Old Cooks and Bakers School

This building was built in 1939. Until World War II, it served as the U.S. Army Cooks and Bakers School, teaching Soldiers the fine art of cooking and baking for their troops. Soon after World War II, the school was closed, and the building became the home of Fort Benning’s Finance Office.
