The Supper Club was built in 1960 to augment the Officers’ Club. The function was similar to that of the Officer’s club, but the Mid-Century Modern architectural style gave a more energetic atmosphere, making the old Officer’s Club stodgy by comparison. The angled windows and ceiling, blank walls, staggered wall piercings are details commonly found in this architectural style. It is the best example of this style building on Ft. Benning.
