The attorneys assigned to the Administrative Law Division (Adlaw) serve as the legal advisors to the Maneuver Center of Excellence Commanding General, and the respective staffs, directorates, and subordinate brigades. Adlaw covers a wide range of non-personal (Legal Assistance) and non-criminal (Military Justice/TDS) topics. The support provided by Adlaw includes legal advice, legal reviews, briefings, training, and administrative hearings.
Additionally, attorneys assigned to Administrative Law serve as Part Time Military Magistrates (PTMMs), Preliminary Hearing Officers (PHOs) for Article 32s, legal advisors for board presidents and investigating officers, administrative hearing officers for driving privilege revocations, and ethics counselors.
