To obtain a Defensive Driver Card (DDC), you can attend classroom training in Bldg 2295, or you can take the online Accident Avoidance Course. Once completed, print the certificate, and carry the certificate with you in place of the DDC. Or you may bring it to the Driver's Testing Office in Bldg 2295 to trade it for a DDC.

The Accident Avoidance Course can be accessed by one of two methods. If using your AKO username and password, go to https://www.lms.army.mil/DLS. If using your CAC login, use your CAC to log in to the AKO site, select "Self Service," then select "My Training," then select "ALMS," then type "avoid" in the search field under "Catalog Search," register for the web-based training, select "Launch Content," and then select "ARMY POV 1-3."
