Abrams Training Assessment Course


Course Scope

The Abrams Training Assessment Course (ATAC) consists of 12 days of training to prepare Soldiers for the Abrams Master Gunner course. ATAC trains and evaluates students on the Fire Control System (M1A2 SEP v2), Organizational Maintenance, Theory of Fire and Basic Ballistics, and Gunnery Training Management.

Reporting uniforms will be Civilians or OCPs. If you are scheduled to attend this school and have not received a welcome letter or Individual Student Assessment Plan or if you have additional questions, please contact the NCOIC via email or cell (located in the welcome letter).
