  • Auto Skills Center: 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday; Sunday and Monday Closed; Open to ID card holders only. Guests are not allowed in the DIY rental bays.
  • Benning Club: Open 11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Weekdays. Closed Weekends.

Book pick-up will be at the Circulation Desk. Returned books will not be available for check-out until after 72 hours. Summer Reading Program participants can call to schedule prize pick up times. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fort Benning ID Card offices are offering the following services on a walk-in basis only:

  • CACs (lost, stolen, inoperable or expire within next 30 days, and pin resets)
  • CACs for DA civilian new hires
  • Initial DEERS enrollments (including newborns)
  • Soldiers who are within 7 days of retirement, and other transitioning Soldiers
  • Dependents who turn 65 and are transitioning to Tricare for Life
  • Full-time students who have turned

Appointments will begin being posted for August 2020 on 20 July 2020 on the DEERS RAPIDS Website located at https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/#/locator.

Walk-in services will continue through 31 July 2020. However, emergencies will be seen throughout the day on a case by case basis.

Effective 22 JUN 20, the new hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Those who have expired ID Cards will be issued an AUTHORIZED ACCESS CONTROL ID EXTENSION to access the installation, Commissary, and AAFES PX. The document will be used in conjunction with the expired ID card until September 30, 2020.

Also, Tricare will allow patients to be seen with expired ID cards. Patients must provide the sponsor's full social security number and the benefits number that is listed on the back of the Military ID Card.
