Employee Assistance Program

The Army, Fort Benning, and employee organizations recognize that personal problems such as substance abuse, marital or family stress, and other problems may affect the health, work performance, and conduct of Civilian employees. In accordance with Department of the Army directives, Fort Benning established an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for Civilian employees and their families.

The purpose of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is to provide Civilian employees with a strictly confidential referral program to obtain assistance for problems that can affect their work performance, conduct or attendance. The program offers assessment, crisis intervention, short-term problem solving, community referral information, supervisory consultation, and follow up.

Most important, EAP services are free!!
