Pest Management
Pest control is conducted IAW the DoD Pest Management Program (DoDI 4150.07) and the installation Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP). The use of herbicides (eg. RoundUp), insecticides, and other pesticides is strictly regulated and limited to certified personnel only. Pesticides may be applied only by DoD-certified Natural Resources, Golf Course, and Preventive Medicine staff and State-certified pest control contractors. Pest control service is obtained by submitting a service request to the DPW help-desk (545-2135). Self-service application of approved insecticides to control stinging insects (e.g. fire ant bait, wasp spray) is limited to building managers who are enrolled in the Stinging Insect Self-help Program.
