Uniform Notes

  1. U.S Army students will wear the Operational Camouflage Pattern Combat Uniform (OCP) as prescribed in DA PAM 670-1, 25 MAY 17.
    1. Students will wear only authorized Army combat boots (Coyote). NO Tanker or zippered Army boots are allowed. In accordance with AR 670-1.
    2. All Officers will wear the Armor School Patch.

    3. Do not wear leather belts. Wear only the riggers belt, or standard tan webbed belt with the open-faced buckle.
    4. Officers wear the patrol cap with sewn-on rank during field training.
  2. In addition to the OCP, students will report with the following required uniforms and equipment, in accordance with AR 670-1.
    • 4 sets of OCPs (Recommend 2x Light Weight OCPs- For wear from May to OCT)
    • 4 ea. coyote t-shirts
    • 4 pair socks (green, coyote, or black)
    • 2 pair Army issued Combat Boots
    PT gear
    • 3 ea. Long sleeve
    • 3 ea. Short sleeve
    • 3 ea. Shorts
    • 2 ea. Pants
    • 1 ea. Jacket
    • 3 ea. Black or white socks (over the ankle IAW DA PAM 670-1)
    • 1 pair Black Leather Gloves
    • 1 P.t. cap
    • 1 set of running shoes
    • 1 ea. Yellow Reflective Belt
  3. Additional Requirements
    • Army Service Uniform w/ Bow tie and 4 in hand tie
    • Low quarters with 2 pair black socks
    • Appropriate civilian attire
    • Map Pens - Alcohol based pens; fine and, Black, Red, Green, Blue, Correction (white)
    • 1 ea. 1 inch thick 3-ring binder
    • 8 1/2" x 11" paper
    • Binder clips - all sizes
    • Highlighter markers in multiple colors
    • Green 550 cord (optional)
    • 8 1/2" x 11" clear plastic overhead transparencies (box of 50)
    • Pocket notepad
    • 2 ea. D-Ring or Carabineer
    • Notebook computer with printer strongly recommended
