COVID-19 UPDATE
Airborne and Ranger Course
**Effective August 12th, 2021**


Graduations: No change from current policy in accordance with Fort Benning and MCoE COVID-19 Transition Framework Operations Order 20-061.


All ARTB inbound students (RGR, RSLC, BAC, and JM) will report with an approved cloth mask in accordance with published Army guidance.


All Ranger students currently in Darby Phase (RC 09-21) will not receive an 8 hour pass, August 13th, 2021.

  • The pass is cancelled to ensure we do not exacerbate the outbreak of hand, foot, and mouth disease that infected multiple students this cycle.

Airborne Course

No 14 Day Restriction of Movement (ROM) if you are attending BAC 23-21 or any class thereafter.

All students who do not meet the following conditions will be COVID tested on the ATRRS report date:


  1. You are 14 days post-completion of final DoD approved COVID-19 vaccination prior to ATRRS report date
    • Authorized documentation must be shown upon arrival: COVID-19 vaccination card or a copy of electronic immunization record.
  2. You have fully recovered from a laboratory confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 infection within 90 days of ATRRs report date.
    • Authorized documentation must be shown upon arrival: COVID-19 Profile or positive test results greater than 14 days from the ATRRS report date.

Students are authorized to travel off the BN footprint after class and on weekends, however they must adhere to mask policies if not vaccinated. Non Vaccinated students are not authorized to invite guests to graduation. Vaccinated students are authorized to invite guests to graduation.

All Fort Benning, GA permanent party members are authorized to stay at their home of residence during BAC.

Officers and Senior NCOs (SFC and above)

 
  1. TDY students are authorized to stay in approved billeting in accordance with their TDY orders. (Must have a valid ATRRS reservation for Abrams Hall)

Ranger Course

For Ranger School Class 09-21 and all subsequent classes, all non-vaccinated or non-COVID recovered students will complete a 14 day ROM with their parent unit in conjunction with sterile transportation to ARTB on the report date. 1ST General Officer Memorandum thru USAIS is still required for ALL SMs to attend Ranger school.

NON-ROM PERSONNEL: Students who are 14 days post-completion of final DoD approved COVID-19 vaccination or COVID recovered (fully recovered from a laboratory confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 infection within 90 days of ATRRS report date) will report on their ATRRS report date with proper documentation.

Pinning of the Ranger Tab at graduation is authorized.

Non-vaccinated Personnel:

Students are not authorized to invite guests to graduation.

 

Vaccinated Personnel:

Students are authorized passes and can invite guests to graduation.

Students are authorized an eight hour re-fit pass following Darby Phase (RESTRICTED TO FBGA), however they must adhere to mask policies if not vaccinated. There is no pass the day prior to Graduation.
