Please do not preposition mail for your Ranger at a future phase. Only send mail to the Ranger course phase your student is currently in. There is no guarantee that your Ranger will pass their current phase or remain in the course. Students will receive mail at designated times throughout all phases of the Ranger course. Students do not have space in their ruck to store large amounts of mailed items and they are not allowed to consume mailed food products baked or purchased. Rangers are provided an opportunity at the end of each phase to conduct a refit at the local exchange. The large number of packages are overwhelming distribution centers and creating backlog.
The ARTB will be implementing a mail distribution system to transfer letter mail only between Camps (Rogers, Darby, Merrill, and Rudder). No packages will be transferred due to lack of space. Any packages arriving via USPS at the Camps after your Rangers has moved on to a different phase will be returned to the sender. Our goal is to ensure your Ranger receives your letters promptly and timely. Thank you for your continuing support and understanding!
Please use the following format to address letter mail to your Soldier:
