How can I improve my EIB pass rate?

All Candidates must be volunteers.
Do not volun-tell unmotivated soldiers to participate. Doing so not only increases your logistical burden, but also takes away time and resources from the soldiers that want to pass.

Rigorously enforce the prerequisites.
If someone cannot legitimately qualify with their rifle, they probably do not have a high chance of success during the EIB test; they are simply wasting your time and resources.

Conduct a physical fitness assessment prior to training.
Commanders should only recommend soldiers for testing who have a reasonable expectation of passing all the events. Candidates who are not likely to pass the EPFA are only taking lane training time away from those who will.

Train as you test.
Run your training week(s) in the same manner, using the same schedule that you will for test week. Use the provided Unit Tracker to track which soldiers are struggling and what events are proving to be the most difficult. Your Commander's Days should focus training on those events. Underperforming soldiers should be dropped before test week. Commanders should only recommend soldiers for testing who have a reasonable expectation of passing all the events.

Enforce squad-level training prior to EIB training.
Instill discipline and attention to detail. The tasks are simple, but require precision; your unit should be training on them in the weeks leading up to your test. The training week(s) ARE NOT designed to instill the requisite level of proficiency to pass the EIB test. The training period is simply to familiarize the Candidates with the test process and schedule.

View previous Units' AARs and statistics (Embedded documents in the EIB Fiscal Year Statistics Excel sheet on Mil-Suite).
Additionally, in your final AAR, compare your statistics with the current averages. If your unit was significantly higher or lower than the average in any area, explain what you think were the contributing factors so future tests can be improved across the Army.
