The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) is a law Congress passed in order to grant more protections for servicemembers coming on to active duty, PCS’ing and/or deploying. In some instances, these protections are even extended to a servicemember’s non-military spouse.
The law has a lot more to offer than just ending residential lease terms, and we strongly encourage every Soldier to read our Fact Sheet in order to fully understand and take advantage of these protections.
If you would like additional guidance regarding your rights under the SCRA, or you need help enforcing your protected rights, please contact our office at 706-545-3281/3282 and make an appointment with one of our attorneys.
