G35 Future Operations

Mission


The mission of G3 / G35 is to advise the Director, G3 Operations and Training on all training matters in support of TRADOC and FORSCOM units at Fort Benning.

To manage, support and evaluate all operations and training for the MCoE at Fort Benning; develop near term contingency plans (30 -180 days); and support operational deployments of tenant and FORSCOM units.

Training


  • Serve as point of contact for the Structure/Manning Decision Review (SMDR) to validate MCoE training requirements and capacities.
  • Work with DA and HQ TRADOC to resolve training constraints.
  • Manage annual resident and Mobile Training Team training programs based on SMDR.
  • Determine the requirements for and schedule training resources such as classrooms, ranges, equipment, ammunition, transportation, and troop support required for resident instruction.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of master schedules and related control documents for each resident course.
  • Compile statistical data pertaining to programmed and actual student input and in-training load, maintain related records, and prepare necessary reports.
  • Coordinate directly with DA, TRADOC, FORSCOM, and resident schools on matters pertaining to TDY school functions.
  • Coordinate/manage DA-selected ALC (CS/CSS) and SLC courses for permanent party military personnel assigned to Fort Benning.
  • Develop training capacity data.
  • Manage input on class sizes, instructor/equipment ratios and international student's number.
  • Provide access to Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) for MCoE agencies requiring ATRRS reports and/or data.
  • Perform administrative functions concerning TDY related to Army Service School, civilian institution training, and schools of other services; and the Warrior Leader Course and Advanced Leaders Course (CMF 11) for region III NCOA.

POI and Tenant Unit Support

  • Coordinate troop and equipment requirements for USAIS and USAARMS, POIs and TEXCOM test support.
  • Provide training areas and range support for FORSCOM/SOCOM units in accordance with service agreements.
  • Schedule class start and close dates for each resident course, to include adjustments as required by POI or CAD revisions, and student shortfall or overfill. Input class schedules into ATRRS.
  • Manage Reserve component training support.
  • Plan, allocate resource and requirement for Reserve and National Guard units training at Fort Benning.
  • Manage support for units conducting annual training (AT).
  • Manage support for units conducting inactive duty Training (IDT).
